2. The Service

Finance OS provides bookkeeping, analytics, and reporting tools for freelancers and small businesses. Features available to you depend on your workspace plan and configuration.

3. Your Account

  • You are responsible for keeping your credentials confidential.
  • You must provide accurate account information and keep it up to date.
  • You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account.

4. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

  1. Use the Service for any unlawful purpose.
  2. Attempt to gain unauthorised access to other workspaces or data.
  3. Interfere with or disrupt the integrity of the Service.

5. Data & Privacy

Your use of the Service is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which explains what personal data we process and why. You retain ownership of the financial data you upload.

6. Subscriptions & Billing

Paid plans renew automatically unless cancelled before the renewal date. Fees are non-refundable except where required by law.

7. Termination

You may close your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate access if you breach these Terms. On termination, personal data is handled as described in the Privacy Policy.

8. Disclaimer

The Service is provided "as is". Finance OS is a record-keeping tool and does not constitute tax, accounting, or legal advice.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Finance OS shall not be liable for any indirect or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service.

10. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. When we do, we will ask you to review and accept the new version before continuing to use the Service.

11. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction in which Finance OS is established, without regard to conflict-of-law principles.
